Founder and CEO

J. Brooks is the founder and CEO of GlassView, inventors of NeuroPowered Media™. This powerful tool unlocks the human subconscious to elevate our brands. Our higher order goal is to fuel brain health, one media campaign at a time. During his twenty year career in media, J.’s work has spanned from agency to publisher to now running the technology platform of GlassView. He earned his stripes rising through the ranks of the publishing powerhouse Condé Nast, where, during his tenure, he built and executed the majority of US digital advertising campaigns for Vogue, The New Yorker, Reddit and Wired online, adding considerably to the digital advertising architecture. Throughout his career, J. has sought to forge strong connections between top tier media platforms, audiences and the brands who are seeking to reach those audiences. A husband and father, J. is quite involved in the community, serving on various Boards, including the Board of Trustees of French Institute Alliance Française. He holds his undergraduate degree in Finance & Psychology from SMU and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University in the City of New York.

Michael Platt is a scientist known for asking some of the most challenging questions in 21st century neuroscience - and conceiving innovative ways to find the answers. Principle questions focus on the biological mechanisms that underlie decision-making and social interaction, the grasp of which has broad- scale implications for improving health, welfare, and business in societies worldwide. Broad expertise in anthropology, psychology, economics, evolutionary biology, ethology, and marketing, in addition to collaborations with colleagues in these fields, have enabled him to reach ever-deeper levels of understanding about the neural bases of decision making and cognition. Current interests focus on applying insights and technology from brain science to business, particularly questions in branding, marketing, management, finance, innovation, and performance.

Michael received his B.A at Yale and his Ph.D. at Penn, both in anthropology, and did a post-doctoral fellowship in neuroscience at NYU. His work has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, the Klingenstein Foundation, the McDonnell Foundation, the EJLB Foundation, the Simons Foundation, the Kaufman Foundation, and the Department of Defense, among others. He won a MERIT award from the National Institute of Mental Health and was an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Fellow. Author of “The Leader’s Brain” (Wharton Press), Michael has written over 160 peer-reviewed papers and over 60 review and opinion papers, and his work has been cited nearly 20,000 times. A revered instructor, Michael won the Master Teacher/Clinician Award from the Duke University School of Medicine and the Teaching Commitment and Curricular Innovation Award from the Wharton School. He is the former Director of the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences and the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at Duke, and the founding Co-Director of the Duke Center for Neuroeconomic Studies.

Michael created and directs the executive education course “Neuroscience of Business” and the online course “Neuroscience in Business” for Wharton Executive Education. Michael’s work has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, the Guardian, and National Geographic, as well as on ABC’s Good Morning America, NPR, CBC, BBC, MTV, and HBO Vice. He currently serves on the Scientific Advisory Boards of several companies, as well as the Yang-Tan Autism Centers at MIT and Harvard, served on the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Brain Science, served as President of the Society for Neuroeconomics, consulted on The Fountain by Darren Aronofsky, and co-founded Cogwear Inc.

Yann Coatanlem is an economist and entrepreneur.

A co-founder of GlassView, the inventors of Neuro-Powered Media™, he was previously head of several research departments at Salomon Brothers and Citigroup. In addition to his role at GlassView, Yann is the Chief Executive Officer of DataCore Innovations LLC, a Fin Tech start-up specialized in “antifragile” investment strategies.

Member of the board of the Paris School of Economics, he is the co-author of "Capitalism against Inequalities" (PUF, 2022), that received the “Prix Turgot” in 2023 and the “Prix Louis Marin” of the French Academy for Social Sciences (“l’Académie des sciences morales et politiques”). In 2018, he received from the same Academy the Special Prize of the Political Economy, Statistics and Finance section for his book "The government of citizens" (PUF, 2017), as well as for the work he has accomplished at the Club Praxis, the think tank of which he is president, and that promotes the use of Big Data in policy making, in particular in revamping the tax and welfare system.

Yann Coatanlem was part of a Commission of economists appointed in 2016 by the “Académie des sciences morales et politiques”, along with Olivier Blanchard and Thomas Philippon, to make recommendations on the teaching of Economics in High School. He is also a French Trade Advisor and head of an economic mission on France attractiveness in collaboration with Business France and the French Embassies in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

He graduated from ENSIMAG and HEC Paris. He is a recipient of the French National Order of Merit and of the Gold Medal of La Renaissance Française.

Notably, Patrick has a proven track record of working with some of the largest and most prominent brands on earth, helping facilitate an emotive connection between brands and customers, and in doing so, enabling the next generation of a modern digital advertising ecosystem.

He is a pioneer of emerging technologies and in addition to his digital media experience, he has worked extensively in the energy and emerging renewables sector, both in the B2B and B2C verticals.

Patrick holds his BSc in Commerce and Masters in Marketing Practice, both from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University.

Robert (Rob) Reeder is GlassView's CFO and a member of the Executive Team. Mr. Reeder is best known for being a good steward of capital, and is responsible for increasing operating leverage, investing in value-enhancing initiatives, improving capital efficiency, and managing risks associated with uncertainty.

In his day-to-day, Rob drives the organization's financial planning and works to enhance GlassView's ability to predict, measure, and monitor financial and non-financial performances. Together with the CEO & COO, Mr. Reeder works to identify, evaluate, communicate, and drive the implementation of strategic choices that lead to sustainable value creation and organizational growth. 

Outside of the office, Rob is on the Next Gen Board of The Teak Fellowship, serves as an Associate Board Member for Covenant House, and is on the Junior Board of Shatterproof. Mr. Reeder attended Gettysburg College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English, and is currently an MBA Candidate at Columbia Business School.

Sharon Lin is the VP of Ad Operations and leads all backend operations with the support of the ad operations team to drive outstanding performance and engagement for our clients.

Graduated from Macaulay Honors at Baruch College with a Digital Marketing degree, she has 7 years (and counting) of experience in the digital advertising industry. Starting from account management, she finessed her soft skills in building client relationships. Afterward, she transitioned into ad operations and built knowledge from the ground up in everything Ad Operations. Honing skills from trafficking, planning, trading, and reporting, Sharon shaped the operational process for backend campaign management at GlassView. With her all-star Ad Operations team, she works with them to deliver above client expectations, analyze data, and manage partner relations, in addition to assisting with R&D development.

During her spare time, Sharon enjoys watching Asian dramas, cooking, and dog-sitting.

Amanda Bell

Amanda Bell stepped into the the Executive Director of Accounts with 7 years out Account Management experience and is continuing to serve clients through performance product dev and building the GlassView Accounts team.

Her degree in Communication & Advertising from Marist College included a focus in Media Planning which drove her into the digital media space. Beginning as an intern, she swiftly mastered the application of analytics and relationship building to enhance client success and assumed leadership responsibilities to share her expertise as the GlassView team expanded. Currently focused on Neuro data analysis for media optimization, Amanda continuously identifies key audiences and opportunities to deliver tangible results for clients.

Her 5-9 after the 9-5 includes exploring the NY food scene, making friends in Astoria Footy leagues, and planning the next National Parks and States to check off her travel bucket list.

Alyssa Rodia is the Executive Director of Commercial and leads GlassView's sales organization.

Graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, she has over 6 years of experience in the digital advertising industry. Starting her career at GlassView as a founding member of the inside sales team, she developed deep experience in B2B prospecting, selling, client onboarding and sales management. From there, she transitioned into building & scaling GlassView's Revenue Operations engine. Today, her main objective is to develop and action go-to-market and growth strategies for the Commercial team.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with her family, and rooting for the New York Mets.
